THE First National Bank building, built in 1893 continued in use as a bank for 114 years. Originally designed in the Romanesque Revival style, there were significant changes made in 1899 and again in 1921. In the life of the building, there have been only 4 owners, The First National Bank, the Town of Onancock, Runninger's Pharmacy bought it in 2008 and now the current owner. The latest business was a coffee house in 2013, however the building is now vacant.
